Tackling the Global Challenges for Energy Transition” was the theme of the Helmholtz Energy Conference, which took place from 12-13 June 2023 in Koblenz, Germany. Representing the ZuWaKo project, PhD student Simon Brauner gave a presentation entitled: “Water (conflicts) and energy? – Why we should not dismiss the impact of water for future developments”. He showed why future water conflicts should also be an important issue for the energy sector and related research, and why water and energy transition should not be considered separately.
