Which challenges do cities, public authorities, and water users face concerning water reuse of cleaned water for irrigation? This gripping workshop of the WADKlim project (April 20, 2023) gave insight into the development process of new DWA-regulations (German water, sewage and waste management) for clear water usage, complemented by a matrix for needs assessment in urban spaces and the application of risk management approaches. Perceived chances and challenges were discussed from multiple perspectives thanks to a broad range of participants.
