On May 21, 2026, Dr. Wolfgang Weimer-Jehle attracted a large crowd to the CIB café. Thirty junior and senior researchers attended the session, during which Wolfgang provided insights into his current developments.The role of ScenarioWizard in the creation and utilization of scenarios has so far been limited to the construction of scenarios, while the subsequent sensemaking has largely remained the sole responsibility of the user. The presentation introduced — and invited a lively discussion of — a prototype for a new ScenarioWizard module designed to enable automated interpretation of the scenario space through the use of archetypes, thereby providing deeper support for the task of sensemaking. This new feature is based on a new function for evaluating and plotting scenario spaces according to different indicators and will be further developed over the summer.
