On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, Dr. Megan Shipman, Dr. Michael Lawrence and Dr. Kasra Motlaghzadeh, all three fellows at Cascade Institute, Canada,, have presented their interesting work on a global CIB model: The Cascade Institute’s Polycrisis Core Model uses CIB analysis to model the interactions of 11 global systems to determine possible consistent scenarios for 2040. The model uses a novel “local-allowed” succession rule to identify realistic pathways from starting scenarios to a fully consistent and highly desirable future that they call the Hope Attractor.
