The researchers of the Ladenburger Kolleg “Future Water Conflicts in Germany” came together for the seventh time – this time at ZIRIUS, the Center for Interdisciplinary Risk and Innovation Research. The meeting marked the transition to the final phase of the project.
The focus was on the experiences of the doctoral students with the implementation of their simulation games in the three modules as well as insights into the current status of their dissertation projects.
At the same time, the meeting served to prepare the content and organization of the big closing event on 13 November 2025 in Stuttgart. The aim is to make the workshop version of the “Futurescapes Navigator” web application available to the public for free use. In addition, the three “water games” developed in the project will be handed over to the stakeholders involved and other interested parties from science and practice. A public evening event on the topic of water conflicts in Germany is then planned as a celebratory finale in the Stuttgart City Library.
