Local authorities are under increasing pressure to develop effective climate adaptation strategies – particularly when it comes to water, which plays a key role as a resource. It is therefore all the more encouraging to see cities such as Heilbronn actively helping to raise public awareness of these issues.
The Heinrich Böll Foundation’s exhibition “Everything flows?! – Water in crisis” is currently on display at the Heilbronn City Library in the Theaterforum K3. The exhibition highlights future challenges relating to water availability and use, while also presenting possible solutions for politics, society, and individuals.
A particular focus is placed on the interactions between the needs of society, the economy, and nature – and the potential conflicts of use that could arise as a result.
In this context, a keynote speech was given last week by Janina Moschner from Module B as part of the exhibition, presenting key findings from the ZuWaKo research project. The results of the project make it clear that greater cooperation between various stakeholders and improved data on water availability and use are needed in order to make informed, sustainable decisions.
The exhibition is open until October 9, 2025, and offers more exciting lectures Further information and dates can be found here: to the exibition.
